Summa S One Series is primarily designed for flexible roll materials used in the graphic and advertising industries:

Main compatible materials

• PVC film (cast/monomeric/polymeric)

• Reflective and transfer films (including heat transfer, flock, flex)

• Printable films (for contour cutting after print)

• Sandblast mask (medium thickness)

• Thin magnets (with appropriate blade)

• Vinyl and laminated films

• Masking films

• Light cardboard media (optionally, up to a certain thickness)

Media Dimensions

Oversized Mode allows an extra +7 cm working range for automatic alignment with OPOS.

Media Thickness

Supported thicknesses:

• Min: ~0.05 mm (standard PVC film)

• Max: ~0.3 mm with correct pressure and blade

When working with thicker materials:

• use stronger blades and reduce cutting speed

• Tangential technology (available only in the S3 series) is more suitable above 0.4–0.6 mm

Feeding Types

• Roll media: up to 45 kg / Ø up to 200 mm

• Sheet media: manual feed, flat tray recommended

• Tray One Feeder (optional): automatic sheet media feeding (S1 D60/75 only)

Contour Cutting (Print-to-Cut)

With OPOS X / Xtra and GoSign, Summa S1 can:

• Read registration marks (up to 128 points)

• Handle barcode-driven jobs (batch processing)

• Use FlexCut for through-cutting / perforation
