Q-line

Brand: Zünd

Zünd Q Line – the most innovative industrial digital flatbed machine from the Swiss company Zünd, designed for high-performance cutting.

What is Q Line?
Zünd Q Line is a flagship platform designed for industrial processes with minimal human intervention – from pallets with printed boards to finished products. The series features a modular design, integrated BHS180 feeder and stacker, as well as smart support for reading registration marks via UNDERCAM and QR codes.

Performance & Precision

  • Movement speed: up to 2.8 m/s (~2800 mm/s) mechanical, with notable acceleration – up to 2.1 g

  • Precision: positioning ±0.05 mm, accuracy up to 0.01 mm

  • Creasing pressure: up to 500 N, enabling proper creasing and perforation

Sizes & Automation

  • Available widths: 1.8 m, 2.2 m, and 3.2 m (length – 3.2 m)

  • BHS180 board handling: full automation of loading-unloading operations for uninterrupted workflow

  • UNDERCAM: camera in the feeder detects print on the media, corrects errors, and ensures accurate print-to-cut process

  • Automatic tool changer: for up to 7 tools, with electronic control and automatic selection

The modular Q Line system supports a full range of tools:

  • AUTOMO E / L carrier – two types of carriers for light (E) or heavy (L, up to 500 N) load

  • Tools: UNITO drag knife, DRAWTO marking, ELOSTO oscillating (up to 55 mm thickness), CRETO

  • (creasing), PERTO (perforation), V tool (V cut), router with replaceable bits

Applications:

  • Packaging and POP/POS displays – efficient cutting without dies

  • Advertising industry – graphic signs, storefronts

  • Textile and leather – soft signage and contour on rotating surfaces

  • Industrial applications – panels, composites, technical inserts

  • Prototyping & R&D – precise routing and perforations
